1. Our commitment
Elitecv processes your personal information in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We only collect what we need to write your documents.
2. What we collect
Your name, email address, phone number, location, work history, education, skills, optional LinkedIn URL and an optional photo you choose to upload. We also store your order status and payment reference.
We do not ask for your ID number, marital status, race or religion, and we recommend you leave those off your CV.
3. Why we process it
To generate your CV, cover letter and LinkedIn summary; to email your documents to you; to support you with your order; and to keep basic records of sales as required by law.
4. Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to deliver your order: our cloud hosting and database provider, our AI text-generation provider, our email delivery provider, and PayFast for payment processing. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
5. Storage and security
Your documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage and served through expiring download links. Access to the underlying database is restricted to our administrators and automated systems.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your order and documents so you can re-download and re-edit them. Ask us at elitecv786@gmail.com and we will delete your questionnaire data, photo and generated documents.
7. Your rights
You may request access to your information, correction of it, or its deletion, and you may object to processing. Email elitecv786@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
8. Email
We email you about your order. Marketing emails, if we ever send them, always include a one-click unsubscribe link.
